Little Brother
Cory Doctorow, one of the main bloggers at Boing Boing,
wrote the novel Little Brother, and has made it
freely available on the web under the Creative Commons license. In this controversial novel,
he follows a high-school student fighting against a security clampdown in San Francisco
following a terrorist attack.
Your assignment is to read this book and write a one page reaction paper (single spaced) to the
issues presented in the book. You must choose one element of the protagonists reaction to events
that you agree with, and one element that you disagree. We will discuss these papers after Thanksgiving break
at the beginning of class.
